Spirit Airlines makes a deal out of 9-9-9

Spirit Airlines is taking inspiration from Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain. They’re actually advertising a “9-9-9” sale.

Herman Cain has quickly become known for his oft-repeated “999” tax plan, a proposal full of holes and subject to frequent ridicule. Cain also made news recently when he said, “If you don’t have a job and you’re not rich, blame yourself.”

This stuff is good material for Spirit, which often promotes discount airfares with jokes about current events. The sale is being advertised through email and on Spirit’s website.
