Homeward bound
Sat. 16 Oct. 2004 - Mto Wa Mbu, Tanzania to Nairobi, Kenya and home
Today was an exhausting day of travel, even before the flight back to New York. We left Mosquito Creek early, as usual. We packed lunches, took a group photo, tipped the guides, and settled in for a long, long ride back to Nairobi. We crossed the boarder once again. Back at the hotel, I stole a shower, said goodbye to the friends I'd made over the last two weeks, and caught a taxi to the airport. I ended the trip with the tired satisfaction of a memorable journey.
