Outside the Taj Mahal, vendors harass tourists constantly, trying to sell chess boards, postcards, and other trinkets. Here, Kris, Louise, and Chris get swarmed. We saw one police officer stationed in front of the gates to monitor this illegal behavior. The vendors watched him carefully as he paced back and forth, and as soon as he turned around to face them, the concealed their merchandise and scattered like birds.
